Foodbank is the largest hunger relief organisation in Australia. It has a national presence, with distribution centres in six states, the NT and eight regional centres. Foodbank distribute 19 million kilos of donated food a year, the equivalent of over 25 million meals which will help feed over 70,000 people every day.
2017
In 2017, the Perth AI team traveled to the respective warehouse and volunteered to prepare and pack meals that were then distributed to the agencies.
April 2018
On the 17th April 2018, the Perth AI team volunteered to be on the front line again of sorting and arranging food packages for those in need.
August 2018
On the 14th August 2018, the AI Perth office took time out of their day to assist the Foodbank team to prepare and pack meals for those in need.
